+++eAccess 12 set for 28 June
– UK’s top event on technology and accessibility
Government Conference Centre, 1 Victoria Street, Westminster
www.headstar.com/eaccess12/
Registration is now live for eAccess 12, the UK’s leading event on
access to the internet, computers, smartphones, apps and all
new digital technologies by disabled people. Register today to
secure your place – spaces are limited and the event always
proves popular.
This year’s event takes place in a Paralympics year, when
disability rights take centre stage. All businesses, public sector
bodies and charities must ensure their websites, apps and other
digital information, products and services are as accessible as
possible, for good business reasons as well as for legal, equality,
ethical, inclusion and countless other reasons. Whatever stage
you are at in learning or drawing up a strategy, come along and
find out more.
The event is co-hosted by the UK’s newly formed network
bringing together all sectors for digital inclusion: the One Voice
for Accessible ICT Coalition. Speakers include Ed Vaizey MP,
Minister for Culture, Communications and the Creative
Industries; Paul Edwards, Programme Manager – Paralympics
2012 Online, Channel4; and Jean Irvine OBE, Equality and Human
Rights Commissioner.
Topics to be covered include tips for inclusive websites;
persuading the board that accessibility matters; and building
accessible mobile apps. Prices are frozen at £295 + VAT for
private sector; £195 + VAT for public sector, large charities
and non-profits; and £165 + VAT for small charities and
non-profits (turnover < £150k). For more information and to

Dan Jellinek, Conference Chair.
